The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival known to most fans simply as Coachella is a three-day annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. The event features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop, and electronica as well as large sculptural art. The event has several stages/tents set-up throughout the grounds, each playing live music continuously. The main stages are: Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, Gobi Tent, Mojave Tent, and the Sahara Tent (2006 also saw the addition of a smaller Oasis Dome).
Coachella draws thousands of music fans into the area each year, and is one of the most popular and famous music festivals in the world.

The Stagecoach Festival kicked off its second country and bluegrass music festival on Friday May 2 and ran through Sunday May 4, 2008.
The 2008 Stagecoach festival featured The Eagles, John Fogerty, Trisha Yearwood, Rascal Flatts, The Judds, Dierks Bentley, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Carrie Ubderwood, Earl Scruggs, and many others. The 2007 festival was more success full than most people expected, and Stagecoach 2008 came through again to shine as the nation's premier live country music event.
